Brother of 'Harry Potter' Actress Jailed for 6 Months

The brother of "Harry Potter" star Afshan Azad has been jailed for six months after pleading guilty to assaulting the actress last year. Azad, who played witch Padma Patil in four of the boy wizard movies, alleged her father Abdul and brother Ashraf had attacked her at her home in Manchester, England last May.

The relatives were said to have argued with the Muslim star, 22, after
overhearing her talking on the phone to her Hindu boyfriend. The altercation reportedly escalated and turned violent, with the pair threatening to kill the actress, after she refused their demands to end the relationship.

Death-threat charges against Azad's father and brother were later dropped by prosecutors following a desperate plea from the star, and they were both cleared at Manchester Crown Court, England in December.

Azad's father was bound to keep the peace for 12 months and her brother was banned from contacting his sister at her new home in London. However, Ashraf Azad admitted to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was ordered to serve jail time during sentencing on Friday, January 22.

Local authorities were called out to the "Not Afraid" star's gated home in Clinton Township on Wednesday, January 19 after his security system was set off, sparking suspicion of a possible intruder.

Cops failed to find any indication of a break-in and dismissed the incident as a false alarm. However, it later emerged a deer had caused the security scare after attempting to jump over a spiked boundary fence.

Beyonce Hints She Lost Her Virginity to Jay-Z

Jay-Z is allegedly the lucky guy who took Beyonce Knowles' virginity. The 29-year-old singer recently hinted that she was still virgin until she met the rapper, who became her second boyfriend and is now her husband.

Beyonce claimed she only had two men in her love life and that she never had sex with the first guy. "Though I was too young for it to really be a boyfriend - we didn't live together, we didn't, you know ...," she said about her first boyfriend. "That was my only experience with a guy, and since then I've only had one other boyfriend in my life - Jay."

"People would be surprised as to the lack of experiences I've had," she also
shared. "When I was 12 or 13 I had my first boyfriend, and he was my boyfriend until I was 17. At that age, that was a long time. I've always been very loyal and a little more mature."

Beyonce and Jay-Z were first reported dating in 2002 though they remained discreet about their relationship. The couple later married in New York City on April 4, 2008.

Porn Star Sexy Cora Died After Botched Boob Job

The busty blonde, real name Carolin Ebert, underwent surgery to boost her chest size at the Alster Clinic in Hamburg earlier this month, but she had a heart attack during the operation and fell into a coma.

She died on Thursday, January 20, nine days after going under the knife. Two of

Ebert's husband tells a local newspaper, "The brain damage was too great. Her blood pressure dropped steadily, physiological functions gave out... then she went to sleep quietly."

Michael Jackson's Mother Challenges Promoters' Lawsuit Dismissal Request

Michael Jackson's mother has launched a legal battle with the King of Pop's concert promoters, insisting they ignored life-threatening activities that were going on behind closed doors at the star's rented mansion - and resulted in his death.

Katherine Jackson is suing executives at AEG, the company behind the "Thriller" hitmaker's doomed comeback shows in London, for fraud and negligence. The late pop superstar's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, has been ordered to stand trial on involuntary manslaughter charges, relating to the June 2009 tragedy - and the singer's mum feels sure promoters knew what he was doing.
Katherine is challenging AEG's motion to dismiss the wrongful death lawsuit against the company, according to TMZ.com. In her documents, she alleges AEG retained Dr. Murray for an "exorbitant salary of $150,000 monthly," and in return Murray agreed to "get Jackson to attend rehearsals and perform".

Her legal team claims, "AEG should have known that the course of treatment being administered by Dr. Murray was unorthodox and unsafe." Dr. Murray is accused of administering the dose of anaesthetic Propofol, which killed Jackson.

Mugler Short Movie Feat. Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' Song Arrives

After teased in low-quality footage, Lady GaGa's new remixed song for Thierry Mugler's January 19 fashion show has finally debuted in a mini movie from the fashion house. The track reportedly is not the title track, but rather a random cut from her new album "Born This Way".

Fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco directed the movie, and he shot it before he got the music. "I'll be 100 percent honest with you: We didn't get the music until after the video," he told MTV. "Nicola [Formichetti, Mugler creative director and GaGa's stylist] hummed it to me and tried singing it to me. It was hilarious. And described it to me in a really articulate way."

"He said, 'It's techno meets Whitney Houston, in a really good way.' When he described that to me, I thought the best treatment to that would be to film it in slow motion 'cause I think house music with slow-moving images works," he continued. "I filmed a lot of scenes that were in my heart and in my mind."

The movie features skeleton-tattooed model Rick Genest and some shots from the Wednesday runway in black-and-white scenes. "She called Nicola, and she said she loved the video," Vivanco said of how GaGa reacted to the film he created for her music. "She's the queen of our times."

GaGa herself said she made the soundtrack specially for Mugler, not just for anyone because she admired his work. "I love him, my friend the genius, my collaborator, more more than any piece of clothing or closet I possess. But don't tell him I said that, he'll die. He picked them all out," she said in a statement.

As of late, Lady GaGa is currently preparing for her upcoming Grammy performance on February 13 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. She is expected to debut her first single live, and then set to follow it up with a music video premiere and an album release on May 23 in the United States.
